Degree in Pharmacy is a professional course , have a unique blend of scientific, professional and community knowledge which makes them the healthcare experts on medicines where in students wish to become a dispenser of medicine (Approved Pharmacists) can pursue this. It is a four year degree program offered by the department of Pharmacy that prepares students to competent enough for clearing the semester end exam and, upon successful completion, become full fledged pharmacists. A Registered Pharmacist certificate from the state Pharmacy council is required to legally dispense medicines from the dispensing pharmacy.
Under graduate course in pharmacy have subjects that encompass all aspects of the drug synthesis, novel dosage form development, and delivery into the target area, distribution, utilization, analysis and economics of therapeutic treatments. Our bachelor in pharmacy program provides a stimulating and internationally recognized environment in education and research delivered by our top notch faculty.
Our postgraduate program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a four semester Specialist Program leads to a Master in pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry). The postgraduates will receive a solid background in physical, organic and analytical chemistry and will also learn the fundamental aspects of the synthesis, manufacture, use and mode of action of drugs. Their education includes how a novel molecule can be designed, prepared and evaluation of their physical, chemical, and biological properties of the same . Qualified Post Graduates from this program are ideally prepared to work in the synthetic chemistry department of the drug industry and also in various government and academia.
Our post graduate program in Pharmaceutics is a four semester Specialist Program leads to a Master in pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), provide rigorous training and research in a range of
scientific disciplines defining the Pharmaceutical Sciences. Post Graduate students of Pharmaceutics department have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of collaborative programs and research activity at the college and industry. Internships are available for students interested in gaining experience in pharmaceutical and biotech companies or in global health placements around the world. Our post graduates pursue various career opportunities in industry, government, and institutions.
Our postgraduate program in Pharmaceutical Analysis is a four semester Specialist Program leads to a Master in pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Analysis). They learn to identify and quantify the drugs, metabolites etc..., and nullify the presence of foreign substance, impurities. The matrices they able to handle ranges from dosage form to serum samples and many tissues of human to environmental samples. Once passed out of the program they are be welcomed in vast areas of medicine research wherever quality, quantity, purity and safety are to be assessed.
