Library

All the students of the college are members of the library. Identity of each member of the library is maintained by bar code. Borrowing books from the library is allowed by bar coding system.

Each and every student is eligible to get maximum of two books. Students are entitled to keep a book for two weeks from the date of issue. If the books are not returned on or before the due date a fine of Rs. 2/- per day for a book (including holidays) is levied. Books due on a holiday may be returned without fine on the next working day. Absences from the college will not ordinarily be accepted as an excuse for delay in the return of books. Reference books cannot be taken out from the library. After two weeks from the date of issue a book may be reissued if there is no reservation for it. The staff members are privileged to keep seven books at a time. A book may be held for a maximum period of one month. If it is necessary to hold a book for a long period the book may be returned and borrowed again for a further period of one month. All books must be returned a week before the last working day of the academic year.

Any kind of marking, underlining, clipping or annotating of books is absolutely forbidden. Readers shall be responsible for damaged done to the books belonging to the library and shall be required to replace such books are pay the value thereof.

There is a supervisory staff on all the floors which takes care of the security of books and other reading materials and placing the same at its appropriate place.The following facilities are available in the library
